Jennifer Ha Earns LPGA Tour Card!

Dec 05, 2016

Jennifer Ha has become the first graduate of the McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour, Presented by Crowe Mackay, to earn full time status on the LPGA or PGA Tour! Ha completed the 90-hole LPGA Final Stage Qualifying Tournament yesterday with a total of 8-under par 352, T8th overall out of 156 competitors. The top 20 players earned full status on the 2017 LPGA Tour, so now Ha, the 2010 Tour Champion, will be competing full time with all the LPGA Tour stars next year! What a tremendous accomplishment for this young Albertan professional. She fired rounds of 70-74-69-67-72 in Daytona Beach, FL. to earn her Tour card. Congratulations, Jennifer.

Reid Woodman, Cassidy Laidlaw Are Tour Champions!

Aug 29, 2016

The 21st season of the McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour, Presented by Crowe MacKay, came to an exciting conclusion today at the annual Tour Championship at Wolf Creek Golf Resort. After going the entire year without a sudden-victory playoff to decide a tournament, we had a tie today in the boys' division between Reid Woodman of Blackhawk and Max Murchison of Glencoe. Both players fired 4-over par 74s in stiff winds and typical "Wolf Creek weather" as scores soared through the day. Woodman made a terrific up and down for par on the 1st extra hole and when Murchison's tough 3-foot downhill slider slipped by the hole, Woodman took the title. In the junior girls' division, Cassidy Laidlaw of Bearspaw edged the host club's Shaye Leidenius by two shots, 80 to 82. I'm just leaving Wolf Creek at 7:40 p.m., so full results will probably not be on the website until Tuesday morning. Thanks again for a wonderful year on the Tour! TUESDAY, August 30 - 11 am, Full Results now on the website.

Code of Conduct

The McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour takes great pride in the quality of its competitors, its host facilities, and the support provided by our Corporate Partners. The efforts of the administrative staff and the volunteers that go into making the Tour so successful demand a very high standard of behavior and decorum from the competitors. We have therefore developed a formal Code of Coduct modeled on that of Alberta Golf that provides a set of guidelines for the young men and women that wish to compete in McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour events.
