Srixon Order of Merit Final Standings Now Posted

Aug 29, 2017

The 2017 Srixon Order of Merit Standings have now been totalled up to and including the Tour Championship. We have listed the Top Twenty and ties in each division as I had a little more time this morning to put up a more complete list. Two of the divisions were already decided going into the Tour Championship (Wingnean and Bergheim) but surprisingly, there was no other movement within the other two age groups at the top, and Jarrett Bossert and Mason Kucy held onto their leads. Thanks to Srixon / Cleveland Canada for their prizing for the Order of Merit.

Tour Championship Brings Tour Season to a Conclusion

Aug 28, 2017

The 22nd season of the McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour, Presented by Crowe MacKay, came to a sensational conclusion this afternoon under nearly perfect scoring conditions at Wolf Creek Golf Resort. Ethan de Graaf of the Royal Mayfair, fresh off his win on the weekend in the Edmonton Golf Association City Junior championships, continued his excellent recent form by firing a wildly erratic 1-over par 71 to take the Tour Championship by one stroke over three players. In the junior girls' division, pre-tournament favourite Kaitlyn Wingnean of the Derrick, who also won the Edmonton City Junior girls' title on the weekend, couldn't quite get it done today, as Victoria Tse of Country Hills GCC in Calgary posted an 80 to capture the Tour Championship by three shots. Full results will be on the Tour website by 10 p.m. this evening. More »

Kaitlyn Wingnean Wins Alberta Golf Bantam Girls' Championship

Aug 25, 2017

For the last three years, 14-year-old Kaitlyn Wingnean of the Derrick has dominated the Srixon Order of Merit standings on the McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour. Wingnean carried her outstanding form in recent Tour events to the Alberta Golf Bantam and Novice Championships this week at The Bridges at Claresholm GC, firing rounds of 76-76 (152) to capture the Bantam Girls title by two shots over Tillie Claggett of Glencoe. The leaderboards in both the Bantam Boys and Bantam Girls divisions were littered with McLennan Ross Tour 'regulars' and we are proud of having helped these rising young stars of Alberta golf to gain valuable tournament experience leading to important provincial events.

Code of Conduct

The McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour takes great pride in the quality of its competitors, its host facilities, and the support provided by our Corporate Partners. The efforts of the administrative staff and the volunteers that go into making the Tour so successful demand a very high standard of behavior and decorum from the competitors. We have therefore developed a formal Code of Coduct modeled on that of Alberta Golf that provides a set of guidelines for the young men and women that wish to compete in McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour events.
