About Us

McLennan Ross - We believe in opportunity. That’s one of the reasons we helped create the McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour eighteen years ago. This year's increasingly popular Tour provides a positive opportunity for young people across Alberta  to foster their golf skills and personal development through competition, travel, friendship and—above all—a lot of fun. This healthy combination makes the Tour a place where becoming a top-notch player is both a dream and a reality. By providing post-secondary scholarships and professional support, the Tour is also a starting place for advancement beyond the golf course.

For more than 90 years, our firm has been committed to those in our communities. With more than 50 lawyers and an extensive support staff in Edmonton, Calgary and Yellowknife, we continue to provide solid legal assistance to clients throughout Western Canada. Featuring one of Alberta's premier Litigation groups and the province's largest and most experienced management-side Labour and Employment Law group, we also specialize in the areas of Corporate Commercial Securities, Insurance, Banking & Insolvency, Energy, Environmental and Regulatory Issues and Construction Law.

Sponsoring the McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour is one of the many ways we remain focused on opportunity.

Crowe MacKay - Business advisors and accoutants with offices in Edmonton and Calgary.  Formerly under the name of Mackay LLP, the new branding reflects the expansion of the company over the 2013-2014 winter.

Srixon / Cleveland Golf - Manufacturers of some of the finest golf balls and clubs in the world, Srixon / Cleveland have been sponsors of the McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour for close to a decade. The Srixon golf ball has grown exponentially in use and popularity on professional Tours around the world, and has made huge inroads in popularity with all levels of recreational players.

Koch Ford Lincoln - Headquartered in Edmonton with dealerships in Leduc and Athabasca under the Koch Automotive Group, Koch Ford annually supplies the Tour with a vehicle to transport Tour staff and equipment throughout the province. With the Tour sponsors and supporters' decals on the Ford Flex again this summer, this is NASCAR meets Junior Golf!

Saputo - Under the Dairyland brand, Saputo supplies milk products to every Tour event to help hydrate and nourish the competitors. Milk and kids!  What a great combination!

Alberta Golf  - considered part of the overall Junior Development Program for Alberta Golf, the Tour has proven itself as a great training ground for competitors moving their way up the junior golf competitive ladder.  One look at leaderboards at any Alberta Golf junior event shows that most of the players have gained  extensive experience over the years at McLennan Ross Junior Tour events.

St. George Red Rock Golf Trail - the St. George, Utah Tourism Board is supporting junior golf in Alberta, because they are both very enthusiastic about youth initiatives in Alberta, and also because they want the kids' parents and grandparents to know more about their outstanding golf courses, and they want you to come to southern Utah and PLAY those golf courses!

Code of Conduct

The McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour takes great pride in the quality of its competitors, its host facilities, and the support provided by our Corporate Partners. The efforts of the administrative staff and the volunteers that go into making the Tour so successful demand a very high standard of behavior and decorum from the competitors. We have therefore developed a formal Code of Coduct modeled on that of Alberta Golf that provides a set of guidelines for the young men and women that wish to compete in McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour events.
