Srixon Order of Merit "Wild Card" Qualifiers

Aug 16, 2017

Each year, over 150 players earn their way into the field for the Tour Championship at one of the Tour stops. But for the past several years, we have also awarded a spot out of each age group for that one player who earned the most Order of Merit ranking points throughout the summer without that one day where he or she finished high enough at a particular event to qualify that day. Another Sweep for Wingnean and de Graaf at Blackhawk

Aug 15, 2017

Six days ago, Ethan de Graaf of the Royal Mayfair shot 69 to win a McLennan Ross Junior Golf tournament on a superbly conditioned golf course in the southwest part of Edmonton, while Kaitlyn Wingnean of the Derrick won the junior girls' division. This morning, it was deja vu all over again when de Graaf (69 again!) and Wingnean (81 today) duplicated their tag team efforts last Wednesday at the Edmonton Petroleum Club a few miles south at Blackhawk, another spectacular golf course in the southwest part of the city. What a wonderful junior golf experience for the 65 players on hand today. Full results will be on the Tour website by 6 pm this evening. More »

Srixon Order of Merit Updated Through Trestle Creek

Aug 14, 2017

The Srixon Order of Merit standings have now been updated up to and including last Thursday's tournament at Trestle Creek. Jarrett Bossert, Mason Kucy and Kaitlyn Wingnean continue to lead their respective divisions, but Cole Bergheim of Red Deer has taken over the lead from Alex Gerrard of Innisfail in the flight for boys born in 2003 and later. With four regular season events remaining on the schedule prior to the Tour Championship coming up two weeks from today at Wolf Creek, no one has an insurmountable lead in their respective age groups. Lots of ranking points are up for grabs this week as well with three events in the next four days.
