This past week, Wolf Creek hosted the Golf Canada Senior Ladies Championship and from reports we have received, the course had an unusually large number of wasps around all week. Many of the women in the tournament received stings during the event. We want to advise the competitors and spectators that will be at Wolf Creek on Monday for the Tour Championship to be alert to the danger. If you have serious bee allergies, bring your Epi-pens! We have a good supply of antihistamines on hand and sting salve cream, but we wanted to get the word out to everyone now.

Jaclyn Lee to Play The Weekend in Calgary!

Aug 26, 2016

Four years ago this week, Jaclyn Lee was winning the 2012 McLennan Ross Junior Tour Championship. This week, she is competing with the best women golfers on the planet and more than holding her own through 36 holes of the CP Women's Open. Jaclyn fired rounds of 69-70 , 5-under par and is currently T17. It will be interesting to see her pairing for Saturday as at the moment these LPGA stars are also 5-under par through 36 holes: Stacy Lewis, Juli Inkster, Anna Nordqvist, Mo Martin, Minjee Lee, Suzann Petterson and Mirim Lee. Brooke Henderson is -4 through 36 holes. Keep it going, Jaclyn!

Ethan Choi Shoots 59 to Win the Alberta Bantam Boys Championship!

Aug 25, 2016

Several years ago, I saw Dale Vallely of Medicine Hat shoot 63 in Barrhead at the Alberta Junior, and I thought THAT round of golf was pretty impressive. So what about Ethan Choi's round yesterday at River's Edge in Okotoks? He shot an incredible 11-under par 59 to win the weather-delayed 18-hole Alberta Golf Bantam Boys Championship for the 2nd year in a row. I mean, it' one thing to see a seasoned pro like Jim Furyk shoot 58 on the PGA Tour, but a 14-year-old kid have the nerve and skill to go sub-60? As the kids would say,,,RIDONKULOUS! Congratulations to Ethan and we look forward to seeing him on Monday in the field at Wolf Creek for the Tour Championship. Mind-boggling,,,,crazy,,sooooooooo good,,,sick,,,unbelievable,,,,I'm searching for adjectives. See you Monday, Ethan!

Code of Conduct

The McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour takes great pride in the quality of its competitors, its host facilities, and the support provided by our Corporate Partners. The efforts of the administrative staff and the volunteers that go into making the Tour so successful demand a very high standard of behavior and decorum from the competitors. We have therefore developed a formal Code of Coduct modeled on that of Alberta Golf that provides a set of guidelines for the young men and women that wish to compete in McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour events.
