We had an even century today; 100 junior golfers from Red Deer to Peace River on hand this morning at the Edmonton Petroleum GCC to battle it out in today's Tour stop. This was the biggest field of the year by far, and the players were treated tremendously well by General Manager Grant Cammidge, Head Professional Kyle Boyd, and the entire team at the "Pete Club". Ethan de Graaf of the Royal Mayfair shot a solid 3-under par 69 to beat Ty Steinbring of Barrhead and Kaiden Nicholson of Edmonton CC by 3 shots. In the junior girls' division, Kaitlyn Wingnean of the Derrick fired a 79 to beat Shaye Leidenius of Wolf Creek by 5 strokes. Full results will be on the Tour website by 4:30 p.m.

Big Field Tomorrow at the Pete Club

Aug 09, 2016

Entries are now closed for tomorrow's Tour event at the Edmonton Petroleum GCC. We have 97 players in the field, so it's going to be busy at registration. The club says they will have registration open at 6:30, so plan to get there early. PLUS word has it the club is doing fresh muffins and juice in the morning as well! Take 215 St south (Winterburn Road) or take the Cameron Heights Exit off the Henday and make your way south to 23 Ave., then west to 215 St. and south to the club. Do NOT take the Callingwood Road exit and try to get south on 199 St. It is closed for construction. See you tomorrow!

Code of Conduct

The McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour takes great pride in the quality of its competitors, its host facilities, and the support provided by our Corporate Partners. The efforts of the administrative staff and the volunteers that go into making the Tour so successful demand a very high standard of behavior and decorum from the competitors.
