PS...Sunday, Aug 24, 9:30 am...none of the Order of Merit Wild Card spots were claimed,,,I guess the players didn't see the website.

Andrew Harrison Wins Playoff at Black Bull

Aug 21, 2014

We have always maintained that Black Bull is arguably the toughest course on the McLennan Ross Junior Tour, and today nothing was done to disprove that claim. Andrew Harrison of Camrose won the Black Bull Junior Open on the 1st hole of sudden death over Nick Vandermey of Lewis Estates, after both players tied with 3-over par 76s. Full results will be on the Tour website by 9:00 p.m. this evening

Order of Merit Updated Thru McKenzie Meadows

Aug 19, 2014

The Srixon Order of Merit has been updated to include yesterday's results at McKenzie Meadows. Some minor changes in the Top Ten in a couple of categories, but largely unchanged with only one regular season event left on the 2014 Schedule on Thursday at Black Bull. Boys born in 1995-97 - Peter Slade remains in the lead. Top 8 players mathematically alive for 1st place. Boys born in 1998-99 - Korbin Allan still leads with top 5 players in contention for 1st place. Boys born in 2000 and later - Justin Pasitney still leads, but Sam Hamelin picked up 100 pts yesterday and if he enters Black Bull and picks up at least 40 points there, he could overtake Pasitney with a win at Wolf Creek. Ethan deGraaf also in contention. Girls - Clare McMahon still has a big lead. Unless Alicia Easthope plays at Black Bull and wins and McMahon is shut out there, McMahon will have a lock going into Wolf Creek.

Important News re: CGA Junior Boys Championship

Aug 19, 2014

The Calgary Golf Association Junior Boys' Championship held last week at McCall Lake GC in Calgary was a co-sanctioned event in partnership with the CGA and the McLennan Ross Junior Tour. I have listed the players who have qualified for the Tour Championship with their play at the CGA Junior Boys event in the Latest Results section of the Tour website. However, I do not have any contact information for any of these players and if they want to compete in the Tour Championship next Monday at Wolf Creek, they must get hold of me as quickly as possible. Entry DEADLINE for the Tour Championship is Saturday, August 23rd at NOON. I have a Confirmation Letter for those players that I will send out by email, but I need to hear from you as soon as possible. Thanks,,,,,Dunc Mills

Jaclyn Lee Ties Tour Alltime Scoring Record at McKenzie Meadows!

Aug 18, 2014

We were very pleasantly surprised to see 2014 Alberta Golf Junior Girls and Sun Life Financial Alberta Ladies Champion Jaclyn Lee of Glencoe on hand today at McKenzie Meadows. Jaclyn has obviously had a very busy summer and made her first start of the McLennan Ross Tour schedule today in an attempt to qualify for next Monday for the Tour Championship. She did not disappoint, firing a 4-under par 68 to edge 2013 Tour Champion Kenna Hughes of Willow Park by two shots as both players qualified for next Monday and committed to enter on the spot. What terrific additions to next Monday! Full results will be on the website by 9:30 p.m. this evening.

The McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour takes great pride in the quality of its competitors, its host facilities, and the support provided by our Corporate Partners.
