Eric Fields of Silver Springs blistered the back nine today at Country Hills en route to a 2-under par 69, good for a 3-shot margin of victory over Heritage Pointe's David Guterson. Cullen Wanvig of Calgary Elks finished in solo third. Full results will be on the website by 9:00 p.m. this evening.

Bombs Away at Pinebrook!

Stephen Diederichs of Springbank Links GC rolled in a 35-foot bomb this afternoon on the 2nd hole of a sudden-victory playoff to capture the Kevin Hipple Memorial Junior Open at Pinebrook over Brendan Stasiewich of Priddis Greens. Both players had shot 4-over par 75s over the 18 holes of regulation play. Carmen Kinas of Priddis Greens was best among the girls with an 85. Full results will be on the website by 5:00 pm today.

Srixon Order of Merit Now Up To Date Through Nanton

The 2012 Srixon Order of Merit standings have been brought up to date up to and including Thursday's tournament at Nanton. Emily Creaser of the Derrick continues to run away with the Junior Girls' division, but the races continue to be close in all three boys' age divisions. Check the Order of Merit standings to see the Top Ten and ties in all divisions.

Woods, Reynolds Declared Co-Champions at Soggy Nanton

Early morning overcast skies turned into a steady drizzle this morning in Nanton, today's stop on Tour. When all was said and done, Dexter Woods of Silver Springs and Hidden Valley's Curtis Reynolds were tied for first with matching 75s. The players were declared co-champions rather than subject them to more cold and driving rain. Full results will be on the website by 9:30 pm this evening.

Code of Conduct

The McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour takes great pride in the quality of its competitors, its host facilities, and the support provided by our Corporate Partners. The efforts of the administrative staff and the volunteers that go into making the Tour so successful demand a very high standard of behavior and decorum from the competitors. We have therefore developed a formal Code of Coduct modeled on that of Alberta Golf that provides a set of guidelines for the young men and women that wish to compete in McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour events.
