Srixon Order of Merit Standings Now Online

Jul 13, 2017

Each year, we wait until we have a half dozen or so tournaments under our belt, and then we post the season-to-date Srixon Order of Merit standings. Well, with six events now behind us, and me having a day in the office after three tournaments earlier in the week, VOILA! We have put the standings to this point in the season on the website. Just click on the "Order of Merit" icon on the home page to see the Top Ten and ties in the three age divisions for the boys, plus Junior Girls. We will update the standings no less frequently than once a week the rest of the season. Congratulations to Jarrett Bossert (Boys 1998-2000), Shiv Kaura (Boys2001/2002), Alex Gerrard (Boys 2003 & later), and Sydney McInnis (Girls), who lead their respective divisions as of July 17.

Carstairs is a "GO"

Jul 11, 2017

Tuesday, July 11, 11:30 am - In the Head Pro's office here in Carstairs. Course is a bit soggy, and it's drizzling but they are open and there are lots of people on the golf course right now, so we are still a GO for this afternoon's Junior Open. No lightning, forecast is for the rain to subside by around 2 pm or so, so we're playing. If you never play golf in the wind and rain, you never learn how to play in the wind and the rain! Let's have some fun! First tee time is 1:30 p.m.
